[1:12] Weāre changing things up, and weāre diving right into a guided meditation. This is something I feel like is really useful for moms in any stage of pregnancy. I donāt know about you and if youāve been feeling any anxiety in the air, but it feels like every mama I talk to is feeling stressed, heavy, or overwhelmed. If that sounds like you, letās dive into a pregnancy meditation.
[1:57] Meditation can be powerful. The mind is very powerful and very suggestive during pregnancy. We want to give it the good stuff to help us have a good mindset for pregnancy & birth. This simple, guided meditation will help you feel calm, relaxed, and in-tune with your body.
[2:22] Make sure you are in a safe, quiet place. Set the mood (lighting, smell, comfort of what youāre wearing or laying on). Lay in your bed or sit on a chair. Pause, get yourself comfortable, and letās begin.
[3:15] Stephanie walks us through a guided meditation.

[1:11] Our reviewer of the week, awisemomof5, said: āThis Podcast is AWESOME!!! I have six boys, two adopted and four biological. I have listened to this podcast throughout my last two pregnancies. I wish I found it sooner!!!!!!! I have had four very different births. One I didnāt prepare for, one I did, and then the last two I started preparing the moment I found out I was pregnant. I listened to this podcast almost daily and even re-listened to episodes in order to soak up all of the knowledge possible. I did the exercises and ate a very careful diet. However, probably the most important takeaway from this podcast was that even though I prepared, things may not go the way I planned. Boy, with my last two, they sure did not go the way I was planning and preparing. Having educated myself and knowing the options when things got crazy made a huge difference. Iām so thankful that God allowed me to discover this podcast as it was invaluable, and so thankful for Godās hand o...

[1:10] Our reviewer of the week, MadStidham, says: āAt 33 weeks pregnant I realized āHoly cow, I really donāt like some of the things that went down with my first labor/delivery,ā and I started trying to find resources on natural hospital births. Enter this podcast! I started listening about a week ago (I am almost 36 weeks at this point). I am SOOOO happy I found this podcast, itās exactly what I was looking for and I feel more informed and excited about my birth with each listen! Iām confident that I can have the birth I want!ā

[1:11] Our reviewer of the week, ygbsbjx, said, āHi, Stephanie! Iām in my third trimester and was very determined to not study up too much about giving birth just to preserve the mystery and romance and natural process of it. Then I stumbled upon this podcast and now I canāt help but listen to every episode and am taking the online birth course. I canāt believe all of the information I have learned and now I have SOOOOO many questions for my next prenatal appointment. I also feel empowered that although I wonāt be having a home birth (due to my husbandās concerns) I know enough now to advocate for myself in the hospital to have the best birth I can try to have! I had no idea how many options, choices and decisions there are to be made that no one even talks to you about! Thank you!
Iām thankful that you have come to the podcast and learning about birth! I love the idea of the mystery of birth and preserving the romance, but I also love that you are here and doing the h...

[2:03] This weekās topic is a little different, but I felt like it was time to have this conversation. Postpartum Mood Disorders are thankfully being talked about now more than ever. [1:11] Our reviewer of the week, namesbrr.johnson, said āFantastic podcast, through and through! Hi, Stephanie! I found out I was pregnant with my first last March. Your podcast was recommended to me by a friend as she knew I was interested in a ānaturalā birth. Though my initial desire was there, you were the influence that fully converted me! From the first episode, I was hooked. And thanks to slyly listening to one of your episodes while my husband was in the room, you sparked his interest. Before that, he was unconvinced that a home birth would be safe. He has now become a fully converted advocate for natural childbirth. You were the catalyst that led us to 3 different birth courses worth of knowledge, and it seemed like whenever I had a question those other courses didnāt answer, you knew! Because youād release an episode that week on the very thing I needed help with. I hope you know how inspired you are! Armed with knowledge and as many tools as I could gather le...

About to go through it all again with my second pregnancy. This podcast and Stephanieās Instagram really helped me feel like such a strong & educated mama when it came down to delivery. I donāt think it wouldāve gone as smoothly as it did without her. Now I know what Iām capable of and Iām not scared at all for the next one. Thank you so much for all of this helpful information.ā

[1:11] Our reviewer of the week is, JennaK3491, and she says, āThis podcast has been such a blessing for me! I have been binge listening just about every day since 32 weeks (just hit 37 weeks this week). (Iām due at the end of March 2023.) When I found out I was pregnant, I didnāt think I had so many opinions about pregnancy and birth and was honestly just going with the flow. I am the type that has to know all about what is happening to me and all about some self study research, so podcasts were perfect for me! I listen on the way to and from work, during work, while doing house work on the weekends, and basically whenever I have free time. I am planning on having an unmedicated birth in the hospital with an OB, I hired a doula and am currently doing all the things to prepare! This podcast has helped me to much gain confidence (despite the negative comments and birth stories from people around me) to have an unmedicated birth and feel good about my options and the dec...
